This dress has a fun pattern, yet it’s still very simple and light. The colors are perfect for the summer weather.
I don’t often wear navy, and I’m now wondering why. I go for black, brights, or neutrals. I’m starting to think I should wear navy more often, I think it looks great on any skin tone! Plus it’s easy to accessorize. It goes great with grey, I wouldn’t have guessed that until I tried it.
This dress is under $50! So flattering I’m wearing a small, I sized up because it’s a little short. The ruffle detailing really enhance your chest and neck without being revealing or in your face, and the loose body hides any unflattering areas like my 20 week pregnancy belly that hasn’t rounded out it just looks like I went to dinner at an all you can eat buffet, and never left. Haha! The pudge appears and disappears, often after meals and when I have to pee. Is that tmi? If so, I’m sorry.
Hope your week is productive, blessed, and enjoyable.
Cheers to the almost weekend! I hope your week was wonderful and that your weekend is fabulous. I’ll be romping around in this little number that is under $50. Incase you are like me and don’t usually wear black in the summer months.
Here is a list of a few ways you can wear black in the summer in a fun way:
1. Add a pop of color. Bright earrings, shoes, or handbag.
2.Add a light weight colored or patterned scarf.
3. Add white denim to a black top.
4.Finally, add a gold or silver metallic wedge sandal to really add a flattering yet summer touch.
These similar wedge sandals to what I’m wearing in these photos are currently on sale, and under $100.
So if you didn’t guess by the title, I’m pretending I’m somewhere tropical while in the scorching desert. Like for real! It was 122 on Sunday…seriously?! So I opted for a white lace breathable dress, and a straw floppy hat that is both stylish but protective from the strong sun rays.
How about this purse charm? I adore all the colors and how you can just easily add it to any bag. No matter the style or size! This look is every affordable, and that makes it that much cuter.
I hope you have a great start to your week!
My mom is in town, and I’m so excited and feeling so blessed. My baby is completely healthy and strong. Right on track, the anatomy scan couldn’t have gone any better and I’m over the moon. God is so good! My mom came in to check up on me and my sister’s birthday is on Saturday. So it was the perfect time for a visit! I’ll be sad when she leaves town, but so happy I got to spend time with her.
This dress is an amazing basic, it’s stylish comfy and perfect to dress up or down. It’s under $50, comes in a few basic colors, and is a bit oversized. I’m wearing an xs and I’m 19 weeks along, I’d size down. It’s super comfortable, breathable, and lightweight. The material is stretchable yet not see through. It’s completely fabulous for warm summer weather.
Thanks so much for reading and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
This summer casual look, is perfect for keeping you cool while stylish. This top is currently not online but I linked a super cute similar top. The heat is killing me, the Arizona sun is so strong and it feels like it sucks all the energy right out of you. Sometimes I just don’t have it to spare! So lightweight, breezy tops are just what I need.
If you live in a warm climate, I suggest loose tanks. Maybe ditch the jeans for shorts, but my pregnancy legs isn’t what the world wants to see. Since I gain weight in my legs, I think it’s better to cover up especially because they are currently white and have lots of veins. Thanks extra blood flow! Ha.

How is it Friday?! I say this often but time really does go, I’ll blink and this baby will be here with me posing for the camera…haha. Maybe not for the first little bit, but mommy can help with that when they get older. This top is great it’s so cute and under $50. I’m still not in maternity just yet, my jeans still button and my tops still fit, I’m sure I may need them at some point but for now I’m milking my regular clothes for all they are worth. You guys can still shop my looks or browse them, because they aren’t ”pregnancy” looks…just yet!
Do you guys have any plans this weekend?! My friend’s birthday is over the weekend so we are going to brunch and a movie. Should be fun, I’m seeing Me Before You for the second time. I’m not sure if it’s pregnancy related hormones but the movie just made me mad…haha. I don’t want to give anything away, but I wasn’t the biggest fan. I guess I’m a movie critic this Friday…haha!

This dress is so summer perfect, with fourth of July right around the corner it’s a great look for the occasion. This version is a bit older but I linked the same style but with longer sleeves.
How are you liking my hair curly?! I love it straight but with the heat and with my pregnancy related laziness aka tired spells.
It’s funny people tell you when you have kids you will never sleep right again. What they don’t tell you is you can sleep…and sleep, then sleep some more in pregnancy and it still doesn’t feel like you’re ”refreshed” or that you can not sleep at all and have terrible insomnia. I’m not complaining rather finding out all the things people don’t tell you about pregnancy. I’m excited to see what the next 22 weeks hold! I can’t believe I’m so close to half way!

This tunic is on sale, it’s under $30. I also love this jewelry by Gorjana, this necklace can be designed yourself simply be adding or removing layers! It includes a bunch of fun pre-layers and you can make it all your own. Pretty cool right?!
Also, did you know I’m pregnant?! Yep…I’m 17 weeks and nearing half way.
Size: My baby is the size of a turnip this week, crazy how the baby went from a gummy bear to a turnip in a matter of weeks. Growing like crazy!
How I’m feeling: Great! I’m feeling like me, just a bit more tired and a bit heavier. Ha!
Sickness: I’m over it for the most part, the first 14 weeks were challenging. I couldn’t keep any food down, now I’m just having some acid if I eat to late. I’ve had this problem pre-pregnancy, I just think it’s the larger meals later in the evening that’s the culprit. Nothing Tums can’t fix!
Cravings: I won’t say I have ”pregnancy” cravings, I’m one of those people who just crave things in general. Like if someone says ”That would be so good.” I’m thinking I agree let’s go there and nothing else sounds good I only want that. So ya…that happens a lot but that’s kinda just me.
Aversions: Everything I threw up in the 1st and 2nd trimester which is a lot and I’m sure you’re not interested in the long list of meals I threw up. Haha!
Weight gain: About 2 pounds, I’m a little behind but I’m working on it. Not being able to keep food down for over 2 months was a bit of a set back. Plus my appetite really hasn’t changed, I indulge more however the level of hunger doesn’t really feel heightened yet but I still have a long way to go and I love food so I’m not worried.

This lace white dress is so pretty and feminine, and great of summer! The shop the post image is different however, if you follow the image to the link it’s the correct dress. This Vera Bradley bag is so fun and adds a nice colorful touch to the look.
