Cowl Neck Sweater
Monday blues anyone?! Not me! I fear the weekend these days, if I go into labor on the weekend I’m not guaranteed my doctor but rather an ”on call” doctor. I’ve seen my doctor the past 9 months of pregnancy and I’m sure in the heat of the moment I won’t really care who delivers my baby but I don’t like the thought of not having my doctor deliver my baby. So this being the first weekend I’m considered full term or 37 weeks I’m glad I made it to Monday. Now I know it isn’t common for first time moms to deliver early but since my weeks change on a Friday it makes me a little nervous because I could hit 40 weeks and be holding my breath through the weekend.
It’s only 2 days out of 7, so I should be good right?!
I have a new symptom of my feet swelling pretty badly, it doesn’t hurt and isn’t really uncomfortable just not cute to look at. I also can’t wear a lot of shoes, like booties or many pairs of boots. Some still work so I’m grateful, but you better believe I could barely walk in these over the knee boots I’m wearing and they came right off after these photos were taken.
Other than that, I’m still liking pregnancy. I’m not uncomfortable, I can sleep through the night, and I’m not overly tired. So if you ever worry pregnancy isn’t great, I hear to tell you it really isn’t so bad. My only hiccup was in the first trimester before I ever announced I battled morning sickness like the never ending flu but that seems like a lifetime ago and I can barely remember it. Even if your pregnancy is miserable or you don’t really like being pregnant, I hear you forget all about it once it’s over. So if all else fails you can hold on to that! Ha! To be perfectly honest, though, I’d do it again it really isn’t different from normal day to day life minus your size of course. 😉
This sweater is so comfortable and perfectly oversized I’m wearing an x- small and it still works with the bump. So it’s a great fall piece for a slouchy, oversized look. It’s also under $60, so the price point is fairly reasonable.
This hat and these boots matched the sweater so well, not to mention the heel on the boots gave me a bit of extra confidence because of the extra height and elongating of my otherwise very swollen legs. Ha! Even though I only wore the boots for about 5 minutes. Pregnancy and heels are not one of the best combos!
Thanks for reading and stopping by ladies. God bless you and God bless America!
